Swedish Lapland is the Arctic part of Sweden and home to Abisko, Kiruna, Icehotel, Treehotel, The King’s Trail, the northern lights and the midnight sun. During our press trip with Swedish Lapland, the official tourism board, we could experience one of the most underrated seasons up there – fall! – While most people usually visit in the summer months for the midnight sun or during winter, to experience to coldness and northern lights – we were pretty amazed about the fall colors and unique landscapes during this season. What most people don’t know is that the northern lights can be super strong in this middle season especially in the end of September and the beginning of October. Below you can see some of the snaps I took from this amazing area!
